Correction regarding article in the Winter Newsletter regarding the renovation of the Beaumaris green
It has been pointed out to us that our article only reflected a positive view of the proposed renovations and did not reflect that NOT EVERYBODY is positive about the plan.
BCS Inc has submitted electronic and paper petitions of hundreds of Concourse users received by Bayside City Council in July 2026, asking Council to abandon its proposals for siting a new public toilet on the green and for building a network of unnecessary paths on its present mown grass surface.

Over 270 Bayside Residents attended. Dignitaries included Bayside Mayor Cr Debbie Taylor Haynes and several Councilors. Matthew Cripps, CEO Bayside, Bambi Gordon CEO NHW Victoria.
